Any advice would be appreciated. Basically you just plug it right in and then give it a little push so it snaps into place. I think it might be the relay but not sure which one it is. The center terminal is listed as an auxiliary terminal and is used for either backup lights or a 12 volt + wire. Any plug that has been changed or extended, along with horse and utility trailers should be tested when replacing for any reason to be sure the function matches the terminal.

If your truck did not come with the tow package, one of these connectors if i'm not mistaken, the bigger one will have the same color blue wire going in but not coming out the other side. This vehicle is designed not only to travel 1 location to another but also to carry heavy loads. If you have this type of wiring a converter is required. I am having the same problem with the same truck.
The black and blue wires get fed up alongside the frame to the engine compartment. Driver should notice several things linked to the diagram, however. The 4 blade connector under the dash was there too. I'd be looking more at the fuse and the wiring at the trailer connector. I have seen it several times! This connector is also manufactured by the Theodore Bargman Company and there are also some generics around.
Check with the well known manufactures like Reese and Hoppy! Today we are going to install part number 37185 on our 2006 Dodge full size pickup 1500 with the 4 pole wiring flat installed from the factory. They come with wire loom around the wires and are completely sealed. That's where the trailer tow connector branches off to the add on trailer connector. Don't tow without the relay or a similar setup or I promise you you will buy yourself a new headlight switch eventually!! Then we want to run a zip tie all the way around them to keep them together. I put in a heavy duty relay in the charge line and used the cigar lighter as a feed to energize the relay when the ignition switch is in the on position. Glad you could find a better use for it. Epic fail on Chrysler's part, good thing this isn't my truck and these issues have turned me 100% off of buying a new dodge ram. I can think of only 2 possibilities. I just hope I don't overload the truck's signal relay. C-1 connector could be corroded, but I have my doubts. More on that after the chart. Are you sure about Splice 327?? I traced the problem from the trailer plug all the way forward to the harness behind the left front tire.
